Another Shutout for IHCC Men

Bettendorf, IA -- The IHCC men's soccer team has won seven games this fall and all have been shutout victories. The latest win came Thursday when the Warriors blanked Scott CC, 4-0, on the road.

Sophomore keeper Marcus Filguieras stopped the only three SCC shots on goal for his 7th shutout of the season. Soph Joao Coutinho had two of IHCC's goals. He opened the scoring just five minutes into the game and added another score later in the first half. Leonardo Texeira also scored a first-half goal for the Warriors and Josh Fisher closed out the scoring with the lone goal in the second half.

With the win, Indian Hills improves to 7-3-1 for the season. The Warriors are at home to face Iowa Lakes on Saturday.
