Reiter Scores Twice as Warriors Win Second Straight

Ottumwa -- A pair of goals by freshman Cheyne Reiter allowed Indian Hills to post its first two-game winning streak of the season as the Warriors blanked Iowa Lakes CC, 2-0, Wednesday at the Walsh Soccer Complex.

Indian Hills got its second straight outstanding performance in goal. Freshman keeper Ben Smiley notched the shutout for the Warriors. Smiley had six saves. Noah Cutler had turned in a solid game in the nets earlier in the week against Scott CC.

The Warriors defeated Scott, 3-1, on Monday and the win against Iowa Lakes gives IHCC some momentum heading into their final regular season match against NIACC in Mason City on Saturday. In that match, the Warriors will be looking to avenge an earlier 3-1 loss to NIACC. Earlier this month, NIACC knocked off nationally-ranked Marshalltown CC.

Saturday's action in Mason City starts at 4:00 pm.
