Rosemount, MN -- Winning all three games by shutout, the Indian Hills men's soccer team kept its early-season record perfect with wins over opponents from three different states in the Minnesota Kickoff Classic over the weekend.
The Warriors defeated Bismarck State from North Dakota, 2-0, Northwest Technical College from Kansas, 1-0, and Oakton CC from Illinois, 1-0, to improve their season record to 4-0. And IHCC is yet to allow a goal so far this season.
Freshman Brady Anderson netted the only goal in both of the 1-0 wins. He scored late in the first half of the Northwest Tech game and in the 88th minute in the victory against Oakton.
Renato Martins and Joao Coutinho had the goals against Bismarck State.
Sophomore Marcus Filgueiras was the goalkeeper in all three matches. He had to stop a total of only seven shots.
The Warriors will try to stay unbeaten when they host Scott CC at Walsh Soccer Complex Sept. 10.
